Accompanying person’s bed
A bed for an accompanying person can be available to your family in certain situations.
Do not hesitate to ask the staff of your service.
You can also consult on our site the various hotels accessible from our facility.
Telephone
If you want to open a telephone line, a personal phone number will be given to you.
Your parents and friends can call you directly.
Do not hesitate to give it to your relatives !
If you do not want to be disturbed during your stay, please notify it: no calls will be directed to you.
NB: Due to the risk of interference with medical devices, the use of mobile phones is prohibited in the facility (DH/EM1 Circular No. 40 from Octobre 9th 1995).
Television
All our rooms are equipped with a TV. You can have access to cable channels broadcasted from the TNT.
Head phones are available for rooms with 2 beds.
If you wish to have access to it, specify it during admission.
Personnal goods
Do not forget to bring :
- your nightclothes
- the toilet kit
- including towels
If you are admitted in emmergency, a kit including a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and a towel will be provided to you to face the most urgent needs.
We shall then ask to your family to bring your personal belongings.
You can receive and send mail from the medical centre.
- Give the full address of the medical centre, including name of the unit and room number.
- The mail is distributed 6 days a week
- A mail box is available at admission.
- If you cannot leave your room, nurses will post the mail for you.
Meals
Meals will be served in your room:
- Breakfast : from 7:00 am
- Lunch : from 12.00
- Dinner : from 18.00
Our personnel will propose every day a choice of menu, to adapt to your appetite, taste and religion.
Medical prescriptions, or your health condition may require a dietetician to ask for specific meals. It is recommended that you only consume what is delivered by the medical centre.
During your stay, you can meet a dietetician if you wish to do so.
People visiting patients can order a meal, they shall make a reservation to the nurse before 10 am after having bought a ticket at the admission desk.
Hairdresser, beautician, chiropodist
You wish to benefit from particular care ?
These professionals, independents, come to your room. The services will be paid directly to them.
Do not hesitate to submit your wishes to the nursing staff.
Newspapers and magazines
Local newspaper is available in the medical centre. An ATM has been posted at the admission.
Foreign newspapers and magazines can also be provided, submit your request as soon as possible.
Worship
The Respect of your freedom of conscience is a fundamental rule.
Religious people of different religions have free access to patients who, at any time, can claim their assistance. A list of religious people can be provided to you.
Social worker
A social worker is at your disposal in the facility. She can help you organize your return at home.
Address the nurses who will pass on to her your demand.
Ambulances
You have the choice of your ambulance. The nurse of the service can take care of calling the company. If asked, she will propose you a choice of ambulance companies.
Important: on medical justification, under certain conditions and only with a doctor's prescrition, expenses related to this transportion can be refunded.
Transportation in ambulance is therefore not automatic.
